When the founder of the Weather Channel has an opinion about climate change, you shut the fuck up and listen. (scroll down for video)
Indeed, this is exactly the same logic global warming alarmists have used for years on anyone who disagree with them: if 97% accredited scientists say human industrial activity will melt our planet in 20 years, you better shut the fuck up and listen to them.
Unfortunately for climate fearmongers, their elitist tactic of shutting down dissent by citing the supposed “scientific consensus” has one major flaw: what happens when someone who’s just as qualified to speak on climate disagrees?
Well, this was the bitter medicine CNN’s Brian Stelter had to swallow when he decided to interview John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel and a lifelong TV meteorologist—“credentials” don’t get much more establishment than that.
“I resent you calling me a denier,” says Mr. Coleman sternly to a smirking Stelter, “that is a word meant to put me down—I’m a skeptic about climate change and I wanna make it darn clear: Mr. Kenny is not a scientist—I am—he’s the CEO of the Weather Channel now, I was the founder of the Weather Channel—not the co-founder—.”
Stelter suddenly jumps in, cutting off John, “And I’m glad you did because I’m addicted to the Weather Channel and I—”
“NO I’M TALKING NOW!” shouts John, trampling over Brian Stooge Stelter, “So hold on just a minute, I’m not done…CNN has taken a very strong position on global warming that it is…a consensus. Well there is no consensus in science, science isn’t a vote! Science is about facts!”
The intellectual beatdown only gets better from here.
