During an interview with Sean Hannity on Tuesday night, Julian Assange accused Obama of “acting like a lawyer” in regards to the Russian hacking narrative (scroll down for video)
“Well, he’s acting like a lawyer,” said Julian when asked if Obama was lying to the American people for perpetuating the WikiLeaks-Moscow connection theory, “Look at most of his statements. He doesn’t say that. He doesn’t say, ‘WikiLeaks obtained it’s information from Russia, worked with Russia—”
Hannity jumps in, “[Obama’s] saying Russia’s trying to influence the U.S. elections.”
“Yes,” continues Assange, “and he…you’ll also note that he doesn’t say…from statements I’ve read, he doesn’t say that Russia was trying to influence the election for Donald Trump. Obama doesn’t say that. And so you have to be very careful about the lawyerly language that is used to try and conflate different things together.”
Despite amounting to little more than a crackpot conspiracy theory promoted by the left, the Obama Administration has nonetheless jumped on board the Russian hacking narrative as a means of undermining Trump’s presidency.
Though, as Trump noted Tuesday night:
The “Intelligence” briefing on so-called “Russian hacking” was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!
